LEADNOW Ministry Changes On February 9, 2008, the LEADNOW Board of Directors voted to transition and merge the missions ministry with the missions ministry of Providence Church (Acts 29 Network) effective March 1, 2008. This move will enable additional people and resources to engage with the LEADNOW ministry as an instrument of spiritual transformation in young adults. The new name for the organization is the Center for Missional Leadership. Barry Keldie of Providence Church in Frisco, Texas will be the new Chairman of the Board, and Jordan Stone will be the new Executive Director for the ministry. The Center for Missional Leadership will serve Acts 29 and many other church plants across the U.S. as a mission’s agency with short-term mission projects and support, as well as missional leadership resources. The CML ministry will continue to be focused as a resource for young adults and young churches that do not currently have the individual resources for missions programs. Our mission programs will continue to be available to college students, but the larger vision will become developing missional young adults and Christian communities off campus that will advance the Gospel by the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ. To date, 83 churches of Acts 29 have already joined the CML! We look forward to the spiritual fruit that will come through the next generation as the Lord continues to guide His ministry. Thank you for your personal support of this ministry and for your heart in helping LEADNOW reach this next level of Kingdom service! We have known for some time that God was refining and leading the ministry to the next generation of His leaders. He has indeed now raised new leaders who are equipped to multiply a ministry that is part of His unfolding mission to the world and to this next generation of young adults. We pray that you will continue to invest in and support
the next generation and this leadership by helping the Center for Missional
Leadership and the new team continue to make disciples through mission
with your prayers, presence, gifts and service. Thanks again for your
friendship, support and your love of the next generation! Mike McAdams |
